I‘ve always been fascinated with the beauty and elegance of Islamic calligraphy mainly because of its fascinating artistic geometry. Here I share some drawings with English translations of their meanings. The images are taken from this Islamic calligraphy page. The translations are taken mostly from this page with some modifications I saw fit to deliver more meaning. The translations are not to be taken as being sufficient to deliver the full meaning of the original Arabic text. Arabic words and phrases are very rich with meanings; especially verses of the Qur’an that require continuous efforts and study to extract their endless beautiful meanings. So delivering the full (known) meaning of a small verse of the Qur’an may require a full article by itself with many examples and many insights of past and present scholars. Enjoy!
